Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories K. Rambabu on Wednesday said that perfect coordination in sharing firefighting equipment and manpower would minimise the impact of fire accidents and other mishaps occurring in pharmaceutical and other industries. He attended several safety awareness programmes in various pharmaceutical companies and led a big rally from Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory to Apitoria Pharma in Pydibhimavaram of Srikakulam district as part of the National Safety Week celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Apitoria Pharma had been taking active role in sending the firefighting equipment quickly to other companies whenever accidents were taking place. He asked employees and workers to follow safety norms strictly and check the machinery periodically to prevent accidents in their companies. Apitroia Pharma Limited’s head (HR and Administration) K. Kamalakar Reddy and others were present.
