A Crime Branch police team investigating the question paper leak of Kerala’s Class 10 and 11 mid-term examinations held in December 2024 has arrested a peon of an unaided school in the district.
The police arrested Abdul Nasar after it was found that he had leaked the question papers to Fahad, a teacher who published the questions in a YouTube channel, MS Solutions.
The Crime Branch had earlier found that MS Solutions, a YouTube channel run by a private tuition centre, had published the leaked questions.
Fahad had worked at the school where Nasar is currently working. He is reported to have used his friendship with Nasar to get the question papers leaked.
The Crime Branch started an investigation into the question paper leak following a complaint filed by the Director General of Education.
Education Minister V. Sivankutty had warned of stringent action against those responsible for leaking the questions.
